Anne Neukamp

Born in 1976 in Düsseldorf, Allemagne
After figurative works, Anne Neukamp quickly turned towards abstraction. She is currently interested in consumer society and draws her inspiration from logos, diagrams, and typography drawn from the communications industry to create works that are in keeping with pop reductionism. She studies them as symbols, examining the notions of transmission and understanding of cognitive systems, in canvases with a pictorial surface that is always perfectly worked, with no material effects and no play on colour or perspective.
Born in 1976 in Düsseldorf (Germany), Anne Neukamp is a graduate of the Dresden University of Fine Arts and was a resident of the International Studio and Curatorial Program in New York in 2015. She currently lives in Berlin.
