This in situ installation testifies to Elodie Seguin’s experience in the Lafayette Anticipations workshop over six months. By affixing panes of glass to the walls the artist creates a symmetry that highlights the length of the room.
The building opposite is reflected to the point that it finds itself almost modelled between the workshop walls. This aesthetic displaces the vocabulary of the window and the prefabricated wall which permeates the second floor of Lafayette Anticipations, beyond the surfaces.
