Baldoria is coming to Lafayette Anticipations for a pop-up celebrating the famous square-cut pizza! Baldoria is the name given to parties in Italy, and founder Piero Ceschia can't imagine a party without pizza al taglio!
At Baldoria, you can enjoy a square slice of pizza on the spot, or to take away... easily, and above all, with your hand!
The menu combines authenticity and simplicity: classics such as Margherita, Mortadella and Quattro Fromaggi, but also a signature Bolognese pizza from chef Leonardo, inspired by a memory of lunch at his grandmother's house. Emotions guaranteed!
Baldoria is a simple recipe: extremely fresh ingredients or ingredients from small Italian producers, a suitable sourdough, and timed cooking. The result? Generous, tasty pizzas with a unique flavour!
For dessert, there's always the eternal tiramisu and pizza with organic hazelnut cream from Piedmont, as well as the usual sweets and more creative reinterpretations like lemon brioche, the same recipe as the famous lemon meringue tart, but with sourdough brioche dough!
As for drinks, there are coffees from l'arbe à café (espresso, cappuccino, americano, macchiato, allongé...), natural Italian wines, Italian juices...
Baldoria is a story of love and passion, as is often the case in Italy. It's a delicious story that began in Rome when Piero, the creator, discovered the incredible square pizzas in the pizzeria below his office. Many years later, it was the meeting with two other pizza lovers, Gregorio, the second founder, and the chef, Leonardo, a true pizza artist, that triggered the desire to introduce the world to this treasure of Italian culture...
