Rachel Rose’s videos and installations deal with our definition of mortality through subjects as diverse as zoos, a robotic perception laboratory, Philip Johnson’s Glass House, and the American Revolutionary War. She integrates these locations into a series of views on death that address both the notion of vulnerability and catastrophe and the impact of history on our lifespan.
