Nathanaëlle Herbelin
Born in 1989 at Tel Aviv, Israël
Nathanaëlle Herbelin mainly paints private scenes inspired by her surroundings which appeal to the viewer’s emotions. Her works feature human beings or traces of their passage, rooted in a moment in time and its context. The artist’s signature sketch aesthetic underscores the ephemeral nature of these moments, treated with melancholy and humour, tension and softness, in a muted, milky palette inspired by Russian and Ukrainian art.
Born in 1989 in Tel Aviv (Israel), Nathanaëlle Herbelin trained at the Cooper Union in New York (2015) and graduated from the École nationale supérieure des Beaux-arts in Paris (2016). She now lives between Paris and Israel.
