Meris Angioletti mixes different worlds and influences in her work, whether it be light and sound installations, slideshows, or photographs. She is equally inspired by early forms of abstraction as by cognitive science, psychology, and esoteric beliefs. In her work, she seeks to translate psychic processes that are sometimes still unexplained, such as the creation of mental images, intuition, or the free association of ideas. In some of her works, Meris Angioletti focuses on research into language, with text present in the form of voices, notes, hypertext, translations, moving figures, and memories in dialogue, among other things.
Born in 1977 in Bergamo (Italy), Meris Angioletti now lives and works in Paris.
