Halfway between graphic design and visual art, Xavier Antin’s work aims to highlight and question the conditions and chains of production and reproduction of objects. His work reflects on the way modern technologies determine our belief systems.
Born in Paris in 1981, Xavier Antin studied graphic design at the École nationale supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Paris and at the Royal College of Art in London. He worked as a freelance graphic designer before gradually evolving towards an artistic practice that nevertheless remains driven by questions of design and technical production. Xavier Antin currently lives and works in Paris.
