Bouchra Ouizguen
Her work is inspired by her interest in cinema, literature and music... In the liberator Madame Plaza (winner of the SACD choreographic revelation prize), she shared the stage with artists from the Aïtas tradition. She continued her collaboration with these artists in Ha! (2013).
In February 2014, she created Corbeaux, a sculptural piece for 17 dancers at the Art In Marrakech Biennial. In 2015, she brought together four artists who had already participated in her previous works to create Ottof. In 2017, she created Jerada for the dancers of Carte Blanche, Norway's national contemporary dance company (Critics' Prize for Best Dance Performance in Norway). In 2022, she presented Eléphant, a choreographic and musical work.
Her shows are presented internationally in institutions such as the Tate Modern, the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art in Seoul, the Brooklyn Museum, the Power Station of Art in Shanghai, etc.
