Thursday 25 Apr 2024 from 7pm to 9pm
Sold out
As part of the new translation of '4:48 Psychose' by Sarah Kane, Lafayette Anticipations is hosting an evening of readings and performances of the dramaturge's text in the presence of Claire Stavaux (director of Editions de l'Arche) and Vanasay Khamphommala (translator of the text).
The evening will be punctuated by a reading and performance by actress and exhibition curator Guslagie Malanda.
Somewhere between convulsive poetry and clinical despair'4:48 Psychose' is a love song imbued with abysmal solitude and pierced by a harsh light. Before disappearing, an anonymous figure prays to the world, between rage and catalepsy. Rejecting an unbearable psychiatric rationality, she speaks of her crack without stitches, her thirst for life and truth, her quest for the absolute and beauty.
